JACQUELINE (JACKIE) MEI
"where dreams come home"
Jackie is an Ithacan and a townie.
Her family moved to Cornell Heights in the 70's and grew up with Cornell as her playground. Daily Cornell Chimes concerts, climbing around Fall Creek Gorge, hiding behind waterfall curtains, sledding down Strawberry Hill at North Campus, running Beebe Lake's path, and knowing how to get from Baker Hall to Teagle Hall without going outside were hallmarks of her youth.
Trained as a classical French chef with a '87 CIA degree, Jackie's passion for travel and discovery led her to an exciting career freelancing as a private chef aboard yachts, estates, and private islands to a high net worth client base. She built a stellar reputation over 25 years providing her unique brand of culinary excellence, service, and attention to detail for her valued clientele.
Jackie is a hearty yachtswoman with great survival skills for remote tropical living and a raconteuse of salty tales and high seas adventures.
A daily practitioner of Taoist Tai Chi, Jackie volunteers her time for local charities: fundraising for the Southern Tier Food Bank, leading an annual tai chi workshop for the Cancer Resource Center, and teaching Beginner & Continuing tai chi classes.
She is also a graduate of the Hotel School at Cornell.
Jackie earned recognition as a recipient of the 2020, 2021, 2022, 2024, and 2025 National Sales Award, given to the top Howard Hanna agents nationwide. As a real estate professional, Jackie offers her well honed skills of professional acumen and personalized brand of service to her seller and buyer clients. Her calm demeanor under pressure is one of her most valuable assets.
